PJ’s Farm was a dream that took 10 long years to fulfill. In 1989 Ken and I purchased 23 acres of heavily wooded land and started working. We worked many long hours clearing, fencing, seeding, building, and making a place we loved and called home.

Although raising fainting goats was my idea Ken supported and encouraged everything I wanted to do. The animals here at PJ’s Farm have brought us much pleasure throughout the years and we couldn’t imagine life without them. Neither Ken nor I ever thought of living anywhere else or raising anything other than fainting goats. We thoroughly enjoyed life. Ken loved being with the animals and filled his days working around our farm. Having spent 30+ years in the corporate world, farm life was an extreme life style change and we couldn’t have been happier.

Tragically and suddenly the Lord called Ken home on November 1, 2007. Needless to say my life has been forever changed. Not only did I lose my husband but I lost my confidant, my companion, and my best friend. On this horrible day I realized how quickly your whole life can change. It has taught me to hold my family a little tighter and appreciate each day I am given. My faith remains strong and I know one day the Lord will call me home and I’ll be with Ken again. Until then I’ll continue on in his memory here at PJ’s Farm.
